EMFACE Eyes works by using HIFES (High-Intensity Focused Electrical Stimulation) technology, which targets the orbicularis oculi muscle surrounding the eyes. This muscle plays a key role in supporting the upper and lower eyelid areas. The HIFES technology induces supramaximal contractions, helping to strengthen and tone the periorbital muscles. As these muscles become stronger, they create a natural lifting and tightening effect, reducing under-eye puffiness and supporting the upper eyelid and brow region.
At the same time, synchronized radiofrequency (RF) is delivered to the dermal layer of the skin around the eyes. This controlled heating stimulates the production of collagen and elastin fibers, leading to improved skin firmness, texture, and a visible reduction in fine lines, crow’s feet, and dark circles.
This dual-action approach allows EMFACE Eyes to address both muscle structure and skin quality—restoring a more youthful, rested appearance without needles or downtime.
At the start of the treatment, the skin around the eyes will be gently cleansed to remove any makeup, oils, or skincare products. Small, disposable applicator pads will be placed around the periorbital area, carefully positioned to target the muscles surrounding the eyes. A gel pad will also be applied to your back as part of the grounding system for the device.
Once the treatment begins, you will feel a gentle warming sensation in the skin around your eyes from the radiofrequency energy—this should feel comfortable and soothing. At the same time, the HIFES technology will begin to activate the orbicularis oculi muscle, causing small, involuntary muscle contractions. These contractions feel like light, rhythmic pulses around the eyes and may create a sensation of subtle lifting and tightening.

You may notice slight redness or a mild warmth around the eye area after the session—this is temporary and typically subsides within a few hours. No special creams or products are needed unless advised by your practitioner.
