As of the 5th October 2021, the CAPS Clinic and its units are no longer considered an exposure site, and are allowed to reopen. The facility has been deep cleaned and is now safe to return to. However as a result, our response to COVID-19 has escalated.
All patients of the CAPS Clinic must abide by the following set of guidelines outlined by ACT Health:
Currently, we are unable to accept clients and visitors who have been in COVID-19 ‘hot spots’ interstate as well as all close contact or casual contact exposure sites within the ACT as directed by ACT Government. For an up to date list of these ‘hot spots’ and exposure sites within the ACT, please refer to the ACT Health COVID-19 webpage. If you have been in these places, or you have any symptoms of COVID-19, do not enter the CAPS Clinic. Call us to reschedule your appointment on (02) 6282 1155. If you consider your appointment is necessary, please contact us to discuss your options.
Please note, ACT Health have mandated that ALL clients, staff and visitors to any Health facility in the ACT must wear a permitted mask when indoors.
Permitted masks include disposable surgical masks, and do not include personal cloth masks. If you have a cloth mask, you cannot wear it in the facility.
All clients and visitors are required to complete a check in using the Check In CBR app as a safety measure for health facilities in the ACT and for ACT Health Department records. The Check In CBR app is free to download on the App Store and Google Play, and is a requirement to enter or use most facilities in Canberra. On arrival for your appointment, please open the app and scan the ‘Check In CBR’ QR code.
If you are unable to download the Check In CBR app, a member of our Admin team will sign you in using the CAPS Clinic’s Business Profile.

As of the 15th October 2021, restrictions surrounding non-medical business have been lifted. Due to restrictions being lifted, My Genesis Skincare unit and Frosted Away Coolsculpting unit are now open!

In light of the situation with coronavirus and COVID-19 in Australia, we want our clients to feel reassured that when you visit us for your appointment, we have measures in place to keep you and our team safe. Please note that whilst we are a medical facility with healthcare professionals and strict hygiene measures, we are not a GP practice with unwell clients attending our premises. We will continue to maintain a safe clinical environment with the same level of high quality service that you have come to expect from the CAPS clinic.
The CAPS Clinic appreciates your understanding in these circumstances. We understand these are extraordinary times but we will be aiming to provide support to the Canberra community as we have done for over 20 years.
To keep our team and clients safe we are staggering arrivals to allow everyone to maintain a safe distance and provide time and space for our staff to check your temperature. A temperature of 37.5°C and above your appointment will have to be postponed or rescheduled by calling (02) 6282 1155.
If your temperature is under 37.5°C, your appointment will proceed. Please use the hand sanitiser provided or the handwashing facilities, and maintain 1.5m distance from staff and other clients.
Clients are also required to sign in via the Check In CBR app.
You have ANY of these symptoms:
AND/ OR you have been in any exposure location listed as a close or casual contact location in the ACT
AND/ OR you have had contact with someone diagnosed with or suspected of having coronavirus in the 14 days before getting sick
AND/ OR you have returned from overseas travel within the last 14 days

If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment within the 48 hour period of your appointment due to illness or the above conditions, your booking deposit will be returned to you.
The health, wellbeing and recovery of our patients is of the utmost importance to Dr Taylor and his team.
We must advise that to maintain the safety of our patients and our team, no visitors will be allowed to see any patient staying at Solevita Private Hospital. We are deeply sorry for this change, and we are monitoring the situation.
