Am I a suitable candidate for CoolSculpting?
CoolSculpting is ideal for those carrying small stubborn pockets of visible fat bulges in the submental area (under the chin), upper arms, bra fat, back fat, abdomen and flank (love handle), thighs and along with underneath the buttocks (also known as banana roll). It is not a form of weight loss, rather a non-surgical sculpting of trouble areas for those who are at, or very close to, their ideal weight.
Coolsculpting is a non-invasive way to reclaim your figure by reducing pockets of fat in common trouble spots that seem impossible to get rid of despite diet and exercise.
You are required to book an initial consultation at the Frosted Away Clinic in Canberra, where your CoolSculpting certified clinician will spend time to discuss your goals and expectations, explain the procedure and risks, perform an assessment and discuss costs.
The initial consultation is complimentary. Our Patient Services Team will discuss your suitability for CoolSculpting over the phone before booking you in for an initial consultation.
CoolSculpting is not for everyone. You should not have the CoolSculpting treatment if you suffer certain conditions including, but not limited to
- cryoglobulinaemia (a blood protein disease)
- cold agglutinin disease (a rare anaemic autoimmune disease)
- paroxysmal cold haemoglobinuria (a rare autoimmune disease)
CoolSculpting is not a treatment for obesity. As with any medical procedure, ask your registered medical practitioner if the CoolSculpting procedure is right for you.
CoolSculpting is not a weight loss solution or a substitute for surgical methods. Liposuction may be a better option for some clients, and can be discussed by booking a consultation with Dr Taylor on (02) 6282 1177.
