From your first telephone enquiry to your final postoperative consultation, Dr Taylor and his team are there to provide advice, support, and ensure the whole surgical experience achieves the best results possible.

At your first appointment you will consult with Dr Taylor. He takes the time to listen to your needs and discuss your desired results - demonstrating the possibilities with before and after photos and technical imagery.  During the consultation, he will assess your suitability for surgery, and advise you on the surgical options and alternatives. He will provide you with clear information about the procedures, risks and expected outcomes.

Dr Taylor will ensure that you are fully informed of the procedure and have realistic expectations of what can and cannot be achieved. You are encouraged to bring a relative or friend to take part in the consultation, should you wish to do so.

Following your consultation, you will meet with a member of our Support Team and be provided with a comprehensive information pack which fully outlines all aspects of the specific procedure. A quote for the surgery will be provided and advice in relation to what, if any, rebates can be claimed will be discussed.

There is no pressure for you to make a decision during the assessment stage. You are encouraged to take the relevant information home and fully consider all implications of the procedure. During this time you are able phone the Clinic with further questions and or to clarify any issues. You even have the option of speaking confidentially with former patients.

CHECKLIST

After your first visit you should:

- have a sound understanding of the desired procedure/s and risks;
- have a realistic expectation of what can be achieved from the surgical procedure;
- have received all relevant financial information and be informed of when surgery could be undertaken;
- and most importantly, have gained confidence and trust in Dr Taylor and The CAPS Clinic.
